type 14 is "plug" plugin , this seem that you are not using pulseaudio 

How about output of "aplay -v /usr/share/sounds/*.wav" ?

is it correct for winealsa.drv to use DSCAPS_CONTINUOUSRATE if the alsa device

There are many warning messages
