The log contains these lines:

err:msi:call_script Could not find CLSID for Windows Script
err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"InstallWelcome" returned
1602

Doesn't sound like an MSI error, sounds like we need a vb script interpreter.
I don't know when if ever we plan to do that...
