Hmm.
http://code.google.com/p/flylinkdc/source/browse/trunk/windows/FolderTree.cpp#58
shows that the app may create an imagelist for all the files in /tmp
(or other directories) for a tree view.

Do you have a lot of files in /tmp?  
If so, try deleting them.
If that's not it, do you have a lot of files in some other directory
that the app opens by default?

If deleting files or the like doesn't help, please attach a
WINEDEBUG=+file,+relay log.
