Forgotten to say:
This is on ATI radeon HD4570, fglrx-10.7 driver, xorg-server-1.8.2, kernel:
2.6.35, initially discovered on wine 1.3.0 then retested on 1.2 (due to
upside-down bug #23904). There was no such reports from nvidia users. Probably
ATI-only.
