Oh, it's very strange then... My wine install is quite common I guess, and a
fresh install of the game did not change anything.

Here are the flags used to build wine (on Gentoo, amd64 arch) :

USE="X alsa cups dbus fontconfig gecko jpeg mp3 ncurses openal opengl oss perl
png samba ssl threads truetype win32 xml (-capi) -custom-cflags (-esd) -gnutls
