Please check that the FAQ at
http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#head-34c8b5d78823a60c9651b4c9848c06a1aa8fea48 ("I
deleted my Wine menu, and now I can't get it back.") does not apply to you.

Terminal output probably isn't useful anyway, if Wine is creating .desktop
files and folders. Probably gnome doesn't like something about the generated
files.
