Building the Merge branch of the git repo fails:
../../tools/winegcc/winegcc  -B../../tools/winebuild --sysroot=../.. -shared

../../libs/port/libwine_port.a   
d3dxmesh.o: In function `parse_data':
/srv/wine-tex/dlls/d3dx9_36/d3dxmesh.c:612: undefined reference to
`TID_D3DRMMesh'
/usr/bin/ld: d3dxmesh.o: relocation R_386_GOTOFF against undefined hidden
symbol `TID_D3DRMMesh' can not be used when making a shared object
/usr/bin/ld: final link failed: Bad value
