Yes it is. I re-installed Winamp (Since I recently re-installed Ubuntu) and
first tried the "Lite" package which is an installation option. The lite
package was fine. No sky-rocketing CPU cycles. Then I re-installed again with
the Full option. As soon as the program started, my CPU usage shot up but not
to 100% like before. It was roughly 85 - 90% high.

Winamp Version: 5.58

Linux "Uname -a" info: Linux Katormix 2.6.32-24-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug
19 01:12:52 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux (Katormix is the name I had given to my
laptop. Not the OS.)

Wine Version: 1.3.1
