I think this bug may be getting worse. Now when I play the game, not only do I
get the "err:gdi:alloc_gdi_handle out of GDI object handles, expect a crash"
output on the command line, but at the same time, this output occurs and I get
thrown back to the desktop:

X Error of failed request:  BadPixmap (invalid Pixmap parameter)
  Major opcode of failed request:  93 (X_CreateCursor)
  Resource id in failed request:  0x0
  Serial number of failed request:  723717
  Current serial number in output stream:  723721

Always seems to happen about five minutes into playing the game.

What was an annoying bug is now a showstopper.
