I guess my latest +msg,+tid log was not helpful at all. It didn't contain tid
traces, because the game was started without sounds. 
Now I attach a screenshot showing what the Tavern screen looks like. It should
display an animated background and an online high score table.
I can't figure why this screen displays always correctly *before* i set sail
for a mission, and why it causes a crash in Wine every time *after* a mission
was finished.
