Apart from the font rendering problem, the game demo seems to run fine without
native msxml3.

Running wine-1.3.8 and using current winetricks.

In a fresh wineprefix directory..

Install dotnet20 with winetricks.
Install the game.
Replace d3dx9_30.dll and d3dx9_36.dll with native versions. I used winetricks
to install directx9 into a temporary wineprefix dir and then copied those files
over.

Run the game from the game directory, once it launches, enter the setup menu
(4th button from the top) then click the lower left button, this should
generate the CaesarIV.ini file. It should be then possible to click the top
button from the main menu and start the game. Everything seems work, I can
place objects on the map etc, I just can't read any text :)
