It's the same problem running from C
I have enough space >100GB

I was making some test with wine's CMD and if you call dir.exe it doesn't work,
it says that not file is found, the same as if you introduce the complete route
to dir like matlab does(c:\windows\system32\dir.exe). DIR only works as dir,
maybe the problem is here..

I'll post a screenshot of what i've tried
