This seems to be an issue specific to the ATI drivers. I am able to run the
game on NVIDIA with Wine, but when I try to run it with a computer with ATI, it
crashes on startup. When running it on plain Windows (I'm not sure what the
graphics card is) it crashes on startup also.

Has anyone with an ATI card gotten Civilization 5 to work in Wine?
