Why are you surprised if you just hide winemenubuilder from wine (so "wine:
cannot find" it) rather than simply turn it off in the registry (prevent it
from starting as a service) after running winecfg ~/.wine/system.reg
or in (before running winecfg)
/usr/share/wine/wine.inf
