I think you have to ask ubuntu maintainer since wine-alsa is not installed by
default when you installed wine in fedora 10 or later (winepulse is default
audio driver in their customised winecfg ) and they also removeed alsa oss
emulation in Ubuntu 10.10 but keep wineoss in winecfg
