I reinstalled the game once again (this time from a original CD instead of the
OEM version). The output is quite different.
Clean wine 1.3.10:
$ wine D:/Games/future\ cop2/FCopLAPD.exe

with quartz and directmusic the intro videos are playing! But the game hangs
