Confirming that this works for me. Use the OpenGL DirectDrawRenderer, then
launch BGConfig.exe to turn on 3D.
I could not turn on 3D using the configuration screen in the game. After
testing the configuration, I was unable to click "Okay" to save the new
configuration.
