[Bug 10795] UI-view32.exe does not show maps on screen

Read further in the blog, installed dcom98 and runs slow. Prior to the program
finally coming up, received an error. It stated "The program wdfmgr.exe has
encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience."

After about a minute, the program did come up.

Why the error?
