Im having the same problem with L4D2. I tryed with and without urlmon.
have you had anyluck getting around the problem.

my system
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor
ATI HD5700 X2 in crossfire Catalys 10.12
Running with wine 1.3.10 wineprefix=32
