A lot of quake3 based games suffer from this bug since they use a fixed buffer
for storing the opengl extension string. This is not a Wine bug and the key
which you used is the only workaround. Try a different version number like
something really old like 9643 or 7185 or so. I can't say why you get no things
drawn but it is no Wine bug. In case of opengl we forward all calls to the
native library and are not doing any 'emulation'.
