I have this problem though I found a workaround. Someone made a
Glide3-to-OpenGL wrapper specifically for Diablo: Lord of destruction. I
downloaded the files and placed them in the game directory. I ran the video
test and it detected the glide. The game runs like the direct 3d mode in that
it allows perspective. It does lag for me but that could be the way I have the
wrapper configured, I'm still toying with it. I'd still like to see Direct 3d
work though. It might not lag as much and the wrapper might not work for
everyone. Using - Kubuntu Karmic - Wine 1.1.39 - Nvidia GeForce GTX 260.
