No, it's not fixed. I still experience the same behaviour in 1.1.36 as
elaborated in previous comments.

Sorry to bother you, but have you tried this using my configuration as
described above? If yes, what do I have to do to get it working right?

Current status:
CAPS_LOCK is control key, CONTROL_L is control key, configuration done by HAL
and xmodmap.
Selecting more entries in the playlist via CAPS_LOCK works, using CONTROL_L
does not (application responds as if CONTROL_L has not been pressed).
