Although I remember it worker fine under RC5, I checked RC4 also:
$ git reset --hard ffdbc65a1c0c7f38b1613255c0a38bd11d8f4711
wine-1.2-rc4 - BAD!

Might it be an incompatibility with a recently updated system component?
