Well I am not sure I understand what you mean. In fact the users need to
access specific folders on a Windows 2003 server and we use a little script to
mount them as needed:
/usr/bin/smbmount //192.168.0.253/PASTA1 /home/usuario/rede/PASTA1 -o
user=administrator%password,uid=usuario
/usr/bin/smbmount //192.168.0.253/PASTA2 /home/usuario/rede/PASTA2 -o
user=administrator%password,uid=usuario
We cannot use fstab as the folders change frequently.
As for the terminal output you're asking for I thing it's usefullness is none
as the resulting file is just a series of minus signs instead of the original
content. In fact some times it saves a blank file and some times the file
comes with the minus signs and this occurs using the same excel spreadsheet. A
surprisingly variable behaviour.
