Same problem with Firefox 3.6.6, Flash 10.1.53.64 and a fresh install of wine
via Git as of an hour or so ago.

Steps to reproduce:

//as root

# emerge -C =app-emulation/wine-1.2_rc7

//as the logged in user

mv .wine .wine-backup
mkdir winetesting
cd winetesting/
git clone git://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git .
./configure 
make
wget http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-3.6.6&os=win&lang=en-US
wget
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
./wine Firefox\ Setup\ 3.6.6.exe
./wine install_flash_player.exe 
./wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Mozilla\ Firefox/firefox.exe
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q564OEmseXE
//firefox hangs up
