I can confirm it occurring on 1.2

Gentoo
glibc-2.11.2
gcc-4.4.4
mpg123-1.12.2
graphics card from nvidia, using 195.36.24 drivers
sound via oss4

EVE runs fine with sound disabled
EVE runs fine with sound enabled, but jukebox directory renamed
EVE runs fine with sound enabled and jukebox directory in place if jukebox
starts out paused

Trying to play default music from jukebox (mp3 files) instantly causes a crash
(usually memory corruption). It happens either while loading station (default
EVE settings) or when Jukebox is manually unpaused after successful login
(custom EVE settings - Jukebox paused by default)

All other in-game sounds work fine.
