This has been affecting me for a while. Just upgraded to Wine 1.2 with no
improvement.

Running 2.6.32-23-generic Ubuntu with an on-board ATI Radeon 2100. Compiz is
on, but it makes no difference.

Sketchup 7.1.6860 Free version.

Just a note about the "use high accuracy HLR" option - for me this works, but
you no longer get shadows, textures, etc, so it is not useful to me.
