But your card does not support 8Kz  

Seem wine use 48000Hz for primary buffer and 44100 Hz for software secondary 

is this normal behaviour ? 

Is it correct for winealsa.drv to use  DSBFREQUENCY_MIN and  DSBFREQUENCY_MAX
as dwMinSecondarySampleRate and dwMaxSecondarySampleRate ?
