Thanks for the quick responses.
Indeed, the first point is a documentation one. I'm also llking at the English
one.

9.04 and lower do NOT have ppa. E.g. :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
returns:
sudo: add-apt-repository: command not found

Could the old documentation, which was present approx half a year ago, be
restored, with the instructions of download along the lines of:
http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt jaunty main

For me, and for some other LTS release users this, is helpful

Please do NOT remove the old archive: as said 1.38 is the LAST one before a
regression made newer versions of wine useless for me.
