You are mistaken. Printing an error if OpenGL initialization or screen
resolution change failed doesn't prevent filing bugs with that messages
in the log. Printing a message just helps to diagnose the problem. Running
out of available file handles is a legitimate error, which could happen
even on properly configured systems.
