I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 and it was working fine for me in 1.2-rc2, but the
fonts were pixellated.  That regression/bug was fixed in 1.2-rc3 (as per the
release notes), but at that point I couldn't get Civ4 BtS to launch anymore.

It still won't launch in 1.2-rc4.  Maybe rc5?
