No, you did correctly, Apparently this is another bug then bug #14681. I
downloaded the app from
http://download.cnet.com/GESTAN-France/3000-2076_4-10754982.html?tag=rtcol;txt

and I got the same crash. So i'll confirm the bug. If you want you can try the
attached hack to get the installer running and installing, but it's not a fix
for this bug. Someone who knows more about gdi32 should probably have a look at
this big
