Installing arial32 font family fixes the font metrics problem:

http://iweb.dl.sourceforge.net/project/corefonts/the%20fonts/final/arial32.exe

Also moved all the fonts in the wine/fonts dir to wine/fonts/bak if that helps

Solved the problem with no issues, battle.net still has some rendering problems
but is usable and does not crash.
