I read every post on this bug.

That's fair enough, but then surely if Wine is set to Windows XP compatibility
mode then it should report dates in exactly the same way as XP does, should it
not?

I don't think people are going to be happy that a bug is going to be closed
without a fix so this game will never work, as "It's a mono bug" doesn't really
solve the issue in any way shape or form. It works on XP, so if I set Wine to
XP then it should work because it should be mimicking XP's behaviour.
