Actually the perl trick to set bitsCancelled=0 worked! I thought I had tried
multiple times to use nano (text editor) to set it to 0 and start it but I
guess I did not start it with the "explorer desktop blah" prefix which seems to
be required for bitsCancelled=0 to help
