I don't know what PowerPoint expects, but it's creating an instance of "DejaVu
Sans" with a charset of SYMBOL_CHARSET and then trying to draw a space with
that. This gets translated by ExtTextOutA to unicode \f020 because apparently
that is how SYMBOL_CHARSET works.
