I forgot to mention that I suspect gdi32 is drawing the text right-side-up to
something that isn't the window, and perhaps there's some top-down versus
bottom-up dib confusion going on (or perhaps the program is just transforming
the bitmap later for some reason and should be drawing the text inverted). But
I can't find any indication of that in the log, and I don't know how else to
look for it.
