The patch fixes the double cursor behavior and is an improvement in that
respect.  However I suspect there is more to fix.

Prior to the regression, while the game was loading an hour glass cursor was
displayed.  That behavior is probably correct, but I do not have a Windows
install to verify.  I could probably try it out on my brother's Windows box
later this week sometime if that would help.
