The problem still exists.
Tested it under Ubuntu 10.04 with the packaged wine (wine-1.1.42). Additionaly
I compiled the newest wine (wine-1.2-rc2) with the same result.

Updates work. 
I did not check the NosMall in detail, but under some configuration (IE6?) it
seems to work. 
I could do anything, except moving the character.

Maybe this is due to a cheat/bot preventing mechanism in the game?
