3) What is expected to happen is when one copies all the files from the
original Merriam-Webster version 3.1, 11 Edition CD into one folder, install
latest stable or development WINE via following the instructions at
http://www.winehq.org/download/deb, then launches the installer via typing at
the Terminal:
wine merriam-webster.exe
it does so successfully.
4) What happens instead is that it crashes with a backtrace (please see
attached file for results in wine1.2.1 and wine1.3.6).
