working, so I had another look with wine-1.3.6.

rm -rf ~/.wine
sh winetricks gecko wsh56
wine GameHouse-Installer_am-heartsmedicineseasonone_gamehouse_.exe

This actually shows the install dialog!  That's very encouraging.

The 'I Agree' button does nothing, though, just outputs a bunch of
fixme:mshtml:nsURI_GetAsciiHost default action not implemented
lines.  
And winetricks ie6 didn't seem to help work around this - that blows up sooner.
