Probably the video card then. The Nvidia GeForce 9400M has worked for all
tested versions (at least since 195.x), and is currently running with Nvidia
260.19.04.

The system with the older 6200SE card is presently at a different location, so
I can't say the driver version for certain, but it is either 195.x or 256.x

No desktops effects used on either computer.
