I also got this problem for Test Drive Unlimited, even when using the latest
wine dev release (1.3.5 currently) and a clean ~/.wine dir.

Setting VideoMemorySize does not help for me neither.

GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+
NVIDIA Driver Version: 260.19.12
