I don't have a windows WoW install available here, sorry. However I can tell
you that d3d11 is completely optin; it needs to be set either manually in
Config.wtf or on the commandline -d3d11.

The crash does not happen on the login screen; the crash happens on sound
initialization, which is just before the login screen shows up. Sorry for the
mixup.
