[Bug 24496] Format Factory crashes after displaying the installer splash screen

I tried the latest Wine version (1.3.3), and installation of Format Factory
works with it.

However I cannot run the program once installed. Errors I get are attached.
They're different from the ones I got with Wine 1.1.42 after running the
installer. Something about "fixme:actctx:parse_depend_manifests Could not find
dependent assembly L"Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC" (8.0.50608.0)"...

After a brief google search it seems like this could possibly be fixed using
Winetricks. But since Winetricks is not really supported and these errors
haven't been there in earlier Wine versions, I need to ask: Can this be
considered a regression and should I file another bug report?
And how about this one? Should I mark it as resolved?
