[Bug 22064] The Settlers 7 Demo fails to start

Interesting, it does not work for me even with the exact same wine version. 
I'll have to try reinstalling to a clean wineprefix tomorrow (I tried with one
that had the demo pre-installed but no other modifications).

The following commits in git are relevant:

a4435e3 - makes launcher patching work

9320819 - allows the launcher to successfully download files

b424b34, 149ffe1 - fix communications with Ubisoft server

b335e94 - allows a new account to be created in the launcher

506af92 - related to the previous one, unsure if this was needed

Then there's something after f2377e8 that apparently fixes the problems with
0124 and later launcher versions for you, but I'm not sure which commit it is. 
You'll need to bisect this one.  Let me know if you find it.
