BTW, I have created a Ubuntu PPA to help test this patch -
https://launchpad.net/~aigarius/+archive/aigarius-winepulse . That includes
PulseAudio patch, GetLogicalProcessorInformation patch and both rgl patches. 

Getting pretty good stability and performance with it (on an ATi video card).
There is a split-second black screen when environments switch, but that is not
too intrusive.
