I got the "No steam" with just the dll's as well, however if you apply the
whole crack (exe,launcher, steamclient.dll,skidrow.ini in the main portal dir,
not sure if all of these are needed), now I've been playing the game I paid for
without issue at all. It actually runs _really_ well.

Of course its not a real solution but if you just want to play the game it
works.
