OK, people! I have a good news and a bad news. The good news is that problem is
gone. The bad one is that you have to change your video card to make it gone. I
had Radeon HD 4350 video card with dkms-fglrx 8.791 (corresponds ATI Catalyst
10.11) and problem existed. Yesterday I bought Nvidia GT 430 and installed
dkms-nvidia 260.19.36. Now I can play Dark Crusade freely. No more crashes. And
even more there is no more textureless models in Painkiller, no more slideshows
in Spore and King`s Bounty The Legend....list can be endless. I heard that ATI
drivers for Linux is bad, but I couldn`t even imagine that everything is so
BAD.
I was ATI adept for almost ten years...I think it`s time to change my religion.
Sad, but true :(
