I can confirm this bug.

32bit Ubuntu 10.10 with 2.6.35-28-generic-pae
Wine: 1.3.18 (from http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-wine/ppa/ubuntu)

The game crashed twice now randomly while autosaving making the autosave file
useless. Second time I started it from the console and this gave me the
following output:

(this fixme:d3d message filled the whole history of the console)
